Missed this one.
The photo was taken by Nobuyoshi Araki for an ad to run in some UK mags for an Italian tile company. The ad was banned by the Advertising Standards Authority.
You know, with all this banning going on we must all be a lot better off.
How's that working out for you?

Six people complain, millions don't, so it gets banned. What happened to democracy? When an unelected few control the rest, isn't that a dictatorship? It's all so confusing this politics business???
I'll admit, I have lines that I draw in the sand. But hell, back when I was a kid there were those detective magazines in the drug store with their lurid covers and kids saw them, got little chubbies, and turned out okay (except for some of us, that is :)
I don't see how this is any worse than a detective mag. cover.
England is so f***ed up when it comes to censorship (though some might, and do, say the same about the censoring of genitalia in Japan), and it most definitely does not result in a safer society as the moral guardians try to insist.
Yes, and as I'm sure most people are aware, it's not limited to England in the West. What happened to tolerance? I thought that's where we were supposed to be going. Tolerance seems to have very specific applications.
